Café Frauenhuber

A café-restaurant since 1824, in a building where Mozart made his last public appearance in March 1791 and Beethoven played in November 1788, both as table music for diners. Vienna's oldest coffeehouse by most reckonings, and it looks barely touched: small, dim rooms, traditional fittings, quiet mornings. The street outside goes back to the 1300s.
