Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

The only UK national park designated primarily for coastal scenery, which shows in the shape of it: 620 square kilometres following 270 kilometres of southwest Welsh coast with a narrow inland extension, split into four separate pieces. Designated in 1952, it takes in sandy beaches, estuaries, wooded valleys and offshore islands including Skomer. Because the park is a thin strip, almost everything in it is within walking distance of the coast path.
