Kuala Lumpur City Hall runs most of the green space inside the city, and in May 2026 it pushed the gates of ten of those parks back to 5.30am and held two of them open until midnight at weekends, which changes what a morning or a late evening in the city can actually be used for. Gathered here are the lake gardens, the colonial-era botanical grounds, the ticketed enclosures inside them and the forest patches that survived the property market, with hours, entry rules and areas stated as numbers.
