Restaurante Casa Pedro

A staging post on the road north out of Madrid, in what was then the separate village of Fuencarral. The house dates its origins to 1702, though other accounts put the opening between 1825 and 1850, and the tourist board notes the 1702 claim carries no Guinness endorsement. Beyond the standard dishes of the genre it keeps escabeched partridge, pig's trotters and the rest of the casquería on the card.
