Malacatín

A cocido house from 1895, a minute from the Rastro on Calle de la Ruda, with tiled walls and a wall of bullfight posters. The stew is the whole point, and the kitchen has passed it down generation by generation with denomination-of-origin ingredients. Note the split week: late service Wednesday to Saturday, but Sunday to Tuesday the doors shut at 17:30. There is a 15 cm step at the entrance and no wheelchair access.
