Lake of the Isles

One hundred and three acres and 30.8 feet deep on a 735-acre watershed, connected by channel to both Bde Maka Ska and Cedar, which is what makes the Chain of Lakes a chain. Its east side once had a neighbour: Blaisdell Lake was filled in 1890 to make way for Lyndale Avenue. Shoreline development is constrained here, and a park board decision ruled out new structures on Cedar or Isles.
