Diamond Lake
Forty-one acres of water with a maximum depth of 6.9 feet, which puts it among the shallowest of the monitored lakes and explains why its water quality is watched closely on a 669-acre watershed. It sits off the Chain of Lakes entirely, in south Minneapolis, and lends its name to the surrounding neighbourhood rather than to a parkway.
