Stockholm's badplatser, the swimming spots the city keeps

Stockholm's city bathing places are a municipal system, not a scattering of nice spots: each registered site has an EU bathing water ID, gets sampled through the season by the Environment and Health Department, and is maintained by a city district or, in a few cases, by Stockholm Exergi or the Royal Djurgården Administration. Almost all of them are free, most are reachable on a metro ticket, and the agency's public list will tell you when the municipality is advising against swimming at one of them.
