Lake Harriet
Three hundred and fifty-three acres and 82 feet deep, second only to Bde Maka Ska on both counts, with a 1,139-acre watershed. Minnehaha Parkway begins at Lake Harriet Parkway on the south shore and follows the creek east, so this is the hinge between the Chain of Lakes and the creek corridor. Boating is permitted on the lake.
