Cedar Lake

One hundred and seventy acres, 50.9 feet at its deepest, and a 1,956-acre watershed, the second largest catchment of the Chain of Lakes group. It carried the name Lake Snelling before Cedar stuck. Shoreline use here is actively contested: neighbourhood coverage has tracked residents arguing over how much structure belongs on Cedar and Lake of the Isles, and a joint park plan for the two lakes has been through public review.
