63rd Street Beach

The Jackson Park beach house, with its courtyard fountain, is the landmark here, and the swim area between 59th and 63rd is one of the designated stretches on the Park District's life ring map. It is on the accessible list, and a beach wheelchair can be borrowed free from the lifeguard office inside the beach house with a valid ID. Guarded swimming runs 11am to 7pm daily in season.
