Foster Beach

A wide Edgewater stretch on the accessible list, with a beach wheelchair available free from the lifeguard office at the beach house on production of a valid ID. It sits at the north end of the Lincoln Park chain, just south of the point where Lake Shore Drive bends inland. Lifeguards are on duty 11am to 7pm daily through the season, and swimming outside guarded hours is prohibited.
