12th Street Beach

A pocket of sand on the north end of Northerly Island, immediately south of the Adler Planetarium, running from roughly 1300 S to 1450 S despite the name it carries. It sits behind the Museum Campus rather than on the open drive, so reaching it means walking Solidarity Drive and Linn White Drive rather than crossing Lake Shore Drive. Beach house with restrooms and a taco concession, and life rings 048 to 050 along the shore.
