North Avenue Beach

The busiest beach in the city and the centre stage for the Chicago Air and Water Show and the annual AVP Chicago Open. The beach house is built to look like an ocean liner and holds bike and sports equipment rental, a bar and restaurant, a concession stand, the lifeguard station and restrooms, with a beach wheelchair available free with valid ID. CTA runs a bus stop here on beach days only, with no shelter and no bench.
