Hartigan Beach

Also called Albion Beach, sitting at about 6600 North and ending just north of Loyola Avenue, contiguous with North Shore Beach so the two read as one run of sand. It is named for David L. Hartigan, a former 49th Ward alderman. Addresses vary between sources, with the Park District listing Farwell Avenue and other guides pointing to Albion or Pratt: aim for the block just north of Loyola University's Lake Shore Campus.
