Steenberg

The oldest registered farm in the Cape, and the valley's reference point for Méthode Cap Classique, which is what most tastings here are built around. Cellar tours have been run free of charge alongside the paid flights, and the Shiraz is worth putting on the sheet next to the sparkling. The property also carries a hotel, a spa, a golf course and Tryn, the fine dining room.
