Levada dos Cedros

PR14 runs 7.2 km point to point between two points on the ER 209, Fanal to Curral Falso, in two and a half to three hours through laurel forest, ending at a multi-tiered fall with a cold pool. Underfoot it is frequently rocky or muddy rather than smooth channel-side path. Returning via Fanal means 400 m of climbing on steep stairs, which is why many walkers double back along the levada instead.
