8.6 km out and back from Rabaçal on the ER 150, three to four hours, graded easy to moderate. The turnaround is a basin fed by a weeping wall of springs, the source of the levada itself, and it is the busiest walk of its kind on the island by mid-morning. Flow drops noticeably in summer, so the wetter months give the fuller wall; the Risco waterfall sits on a short signposted spur off the same approach.
