Mar Bella

Some 500 metres between Bogatell and Nova Mar Bella, created outright during the urban rebuild for the 1992 Olympics rather than inherited from the old shoreline. It carries the city's designated nudist section and draws a younger crowd than the Ciutat Vella beaches. Like its neighbours it is thin on sand after big easterlies: it was one of the four most affected by storm Gloria.
