Fòrum

Not a beach but a bathing zone inside the Parc del Fòrum, with no sand at all: you walk in off paved surfaces and drop straight into deep water. It went in when the coastline was urbanised towards the Besòs for the 2004 Fòrum de les Cultures, and is sampled weekly alongside the nine sand beaches. An improvement plan is due to complete this summer, adding visibility and safety measures and naturalising the Pangea island for protected seabirds. The Trambesòs tram stop is at the gate.
