Bogatell

About 700 metres behind Poblenou, the longest of the municipal beaches, lying between Nova Icària and Mar Bella. It is the one the city programmes for crowds: some of the Mercè concerts happen here, as do the havaneres singing during the Vila Olímpica festa major. Works on the new Districlima cooling plant at Bogatell recovered 8,000 cubic metres of sand, redistributed north along the coast. The L4 metro station of the same name is the nearest stop.
