Barceloneta

Around 400 metres between the Gas breakwater, also called the espigó de Ginebra, and Sant Miquel, backed by the eighteenth-century grid of the Barceloneta neighbourhood. This is the most heavily used sand in the city and the one that gets topped up first: sand moved from Sant Miquel and from the north end of Somorrostro goes here. The L4 metro stop of the same name is step-free, with tactile paving on the platform, and is the usual arrival point.
