Snowdon Ranger Path

Thought to be the oldest route to the summit, named for the Snowdon Ranger Inn at its foot, now a YHA. It climbs the western side from Llyn Cwellyn on a gravel bridleway, 8 miles there and back for 937 metres of ascent, and sits between the Llanberis Path and the Pyg Track for effort. Much quieter than Llanberis, largely because there is less parking and almost nothing else at the trailhead.
