Rhyd Ddu Path

The quietest of the six, climbing the western slopes from the village that gives it its name, along the ridge of Llechog. Route descriptions put it at 7.5 miles there and back with 890 metres of ascent, six to seven hours, and the last stretch to the summit is a rocky scramble that wants a head for heights. It pairs with the South Ridge for a circular day rather than a there-and-back.
