Wylie's Baths

Founded in 1907 by long-distance swimming champion Henry Alexander Wylie and set on a timber deck beneath the cliffs at the southern end of Coogee, with a 50-metre tidal pool cut into the rock. The deck gives 180-degree views over the ocean, including Wedding Cake Island. Admission is around AU$8.50 and pays for the upkeep; there are change rooms, a kiosk and yoga programmes, and lifeguards in summer.
