Cellars with centuries of winemaking behind them in the historic core of Gaia, opened up as a visitor centre with a tasting room and shop. The tour covers the Douro Valley and sustainable production, includes an aroma identification exercise, and ends with a glass of Bin 27, the house's signature reserve, or grape juice instead. Note the split timetable: closed Mondays, late opening and an 11pm finish on Fridays and Saturdays.
