Rozès

A Bordeaux merchant house from 1855 that began shipping Port under its own name in 1930, and has belonged to Vranken Pommery Monopole since 1999. The lodge sits up on the hill away from the river, built with something of a medieval castle about it, and you are taken downstairs into the cellars from the door. The 230 hectares of Douro vines behind it span all three sub-regions. Visits by appointment only.
