Cálem

Established in 1859 and set right by the lower deck of the bridge, which is why it takes more visitors than any other lodge in Gaia. Before the Douro was dammed these cellars flooded regularly, and a display inside marks the high-water lines. Guided visits cover the demarcated region and Port production, with cheese and chocolate pairings offered, and the last tour of the day ends with Fado.
