Oloolua Nature Trail
The walking route through Oloolua Forest on the Karen side of the city, managed by the Kenya Institute of Primate Research rather than by the forest service. The set piece is a natural cave 37 metres deep; the rest is forest walking and bird watching under closed canopy. Oloolua is one of Nairobi's three gazetted forests and the quietest of them to reach.
