Rue Saint-Vincent

The film's first shot follows a bluebottle along this cobbled street at the corner of rue des Saules, on the quiet north slope behind the Sacré-Cœur. The lane keeps its setts and its retaining walls, and the vineyard of Montmartre runs down one side of it. Almost nothing of the frame has changed, which is not true of most of the interiors: those were built in a studio in Cologne.
