The narration announces that Amélie arrives at the Gare de l'Est photo booth, but the facade on screen is Gare du Nord, with the word NORD digitally altered to EST to match the line. The station is worth the visit anyway for the sequence set in the ticket hall, though the interior has been rebuilt since 2001 and the booth of the film is gone. The metro station beneath carries the postcode 75010.
