Lamarck-Caulaincourt

The station with the double staircase running down either side of the entrance, where Amélie takes a blind man by the arm and narrates the market on rue Lamarck to him at speed. It sits close to the streets used for her flat, so much of the film's Montmartre is within a few minutes of the exit. The stairs are the reason the shot works and also the reason there is no level way in.
