Café des 2 Moulins

Amélie Poulain waits tables here in Jeunet's 2001 film, and the brasserie has traded on it ever since; the OSM entry now simply describes it as the café from the film. It sits at the foot of rue Lepic in the 18th, a working café with pavement tables rather than a set piece, and it opens at half past seven on weekdays. The room itself was a real Montmartre brasserie before the shoot, unlike the film's apartment interiors, which were built in a studio in Cologne.
