The footbridge by the Louvre where Amélie is overtaken by the urge to help strangers. Its wooden deck had already carried the failed suicide of Renoir's Boudu Sauvé des Eaux in 1932, and it is where Jason Bourne walks off at the end of The Bourne Identity. The load-bearing structure was rebuilt in the 1980s, and the padlocks that later covered the parapets have been cleared.
