Wandsworth Bridge
A steel cantilever road bridge opened on 25 September 1940 and maintained by Wandsworth Council, which runs a dedicated works page and FAQ for it. Repairs have been staged in phases: the bridge shut for ten weeks before reopening to motorists in September 2023, as reported by South London Press and confirmed by both Wandsworth and Hammersmith and Fulham councils. The council announced a further round of bridge improvements in September 2026.
