Lambeth Bridge
The current road bridge opened on 12 May 1932 and is one of the three central crossings named in Ara's May 2026 report on bridges added to London's critical infrastructure list. Transport for London keeps a standing works page for the bridge and began a further phase of safety improvements there, the second such phase announced. The same 2023 assessment the report draws on described the condition of the city's 32 crossings in terms of accumulated degradation under a decade of underfunding.
