Pont Notre-Dame

A crossing has stood here since antiquity, rebuilt many times over. One collapse, in 1499, was caused by the weight of the houses that had been built on the bridge itself. The present structure runs between the place Louis-Lépine on the Île de la Cité and the right bank.
