Pont d'Iéna

Built under Napoleon I and named for his victory at the Battle of Jena in 1806, the bridge runs five wide arches on four piers between the Trocadéro and the Champ-de-Mars. Imperial eagles decorate the spans, and four warrior sculptures representing Greek, Arab, Roman and Gallic figures sit on the pylons at either end.
