Westmalle
The oldest brewery on the list, running since 1836 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, and the house that gave the Tripel its name. Westmalle also took on the authority over Achel after that community lost its monks, which is why Achel can still be called Trappist while no longer carrying the logo on the label. The abbot has put the number of monks at Westmalle at 27, against roughly a hundred in the whole of Belgium.
