Orval
The youngest of the Belgian five, brewing since 1931, and the one whose single core beer is dry-hopped and bottle-conditioned with Brettanomyces rather than built for sweetness. Production was 71,000 hectolitres in 2004, and the abbey was a 1997 founder of the association that controls the logo. A note on the map pin: open map data offered a close but not exact match for this place, so the marker may sit slightly off. If it looks wrong, please flag this entry so it can be checked.
