Pritchard Island Beach

Rainier Beach's stretch of Lake Washington, guarded June 27 to August 23 off a floating dock with no diving board. It doubles as the south-end site for the Parks lifeguard training course, which runs Monday to Thursday afternoons from late June, so expect trainees in the water alongside swimmers. The August close makes it one to use in high summer rather than early September.
