Mount Baker Beach

Fine gravel underfoot rather than sand, on the west shore of Lake Washington just south of the I-90 crossing. Guarded June 27 to September 7, weekdays 12:00 to 19:00 and weekends 11:00 to 19:00, with a floating dock and a 1 metre board only. A tree-shaded path links Lake Washington Boulevard down to the water, which keeps the walk in from parking short.
