One of the four Lake Washington beaches guarded through to September 7, opening June 27. The swimming area is marked off a floating dock carrying both a 1 metre and a 3 metre board, so it is one of the few city beaches where the deep end is genuinely deep. The shoreline is grass rather than a wide strand, and parking fills on hot afternoons.
