Cockburn's

Founded in 1815 by a Scottish soldier who had served in the Peninsular War, and now Gaia's largest wooden Port cellar. One of the few lodges here that is still genuinely at work: casks and pipes of wine being matured, assessed, blended and drawn off for bottling, with the bottle cellars of Vintage kept alongside. Visits and tastings are by appointment.
