Galerie de Montpensier

The west arcade of the Palais-Royal, dating from 1784 and the earliest of the covered shopping walks in the city, predating the passage boom by a generation. It runs the length of the Cour d'Honneur opposite the Galerie de Valois, with the Galerie Beaujolais closing the north end. Antique and art dealers, small luxury houses and cafés sit under the original glazing.
