Le Grand Colbert

The Pompeian-style paintings on wood are entered in the inventory of historic works, and the room was put back into shape when the galerie Colbert was rebuilt for the Bibliothèque nationale, work completed in 1985. It has faced the Bourse district since 1900, with velvet banquettes, gilded chandeliers and a seafood counter. Service is continuous from noon, so late lunch is possible.
