Aux Anysetiers du roy

The storefront and the carved house sign, inscribed by decree of 22 February 1926, are survivors of a seventeenth-century tavern; the sign once advertised a cabaret used by players from the jeu de paume court at number 54. The jovial Bacchus perched above the door gave the 1990s occupant of the premises its name, Le Petit Bacchus. Inside, the decor is modern work in a medieval key.
