Bouillon Chartier

Open since 1896 with a Belle Époque interior classified as a monument historique, a hall built to the scale of an early twentieth-century railway station. Waiters in black and white work the room at speed, carrying escargots, saucisse-purée and profiteroles at bouillon prices. Continuous service from 11:30 to midnight means no closed afternoon.
