Au Rocher de Cancale

Classified in 1997, at the corner of rue Montorgueil and rue Greneta, in a building of the late seventeenth or early eighteenth century whose panelled facades carry the name in gold letters. The original carved wooden sign at the angle shows a rock covered in oysters and mussels, which is what the Breton place name refers to. A recent restoration returned colour to the wood and plaster mouldings.
