Storefront and interior decor were inscribed as monuments historiques by decree of 23 May 1984, and the whole carries the twentieth-century heritage label. It occupies the ground floor of a nineteenth-century house on the angle of rue de l'Hôtel de Ville and rue des Barres, which gives it two listed frontages instead of one. Doors open at 8:30, early for the Marais.
